my battery keeps going flat when not used for 4 to 5 days. had it tested at the local auto shop and he said it was ok? Obviously it isn't so want to test it off the car before buying a new one. Will leaving the car without a battery connected cause me problems, ie with things needing resetting...

Just had front diff done on 2.5 dse. I supplied the diff and they want 206.00 for fitting it. Is that about right? Seems a bit steep to me. :

Pulled out of petrol station and heard the most horrid noise from the front. Big clunking noise and car jerking as it clunked. Felt like I was towing a porta cabin on a chain over speed bumps. pulled back into station and it got worse when turning. Recovery mechanic thinks it is the prop shaft...

Finally got it sorted. The problem was that the usb port i was using had been re-assigned to com 25 since i installed the drivers last night. Then came the next problem, the unlock suite only had options up to comm 12. So, opened up the device manager, went to the advanced options for that port...

wow, that was quick. I am using the cable supplied by datatek with a usb to serial adapter. i have installed the drivers for the adapter in Vista but am going to check it again shortly.

hi all. Just tried unlock suite and had a bit of bother. In the tx and rx both reading FF and 1. The status box is reading no idle but occasionally flashes green for a second then back to no idle. I have increased the idle delay but no change. the F8 F9 FA FB and FC boxes are reading 248 249 250...

well took out the timer relay and inflated it. then i heard a leak at the rear wheel. noticed an elbow on the air hose sticking out of the wheel arch liner. So, jacked everything up, removed wheel, cleaned elbow, trimmed hoses, squared hose to elbow. Re-inflated it and it seems to be staying...

sorry, do you mean the delay timer unit under the passenger seat or the relay under the bonnet in the fuse box? (or both??)
