Passed the mot.... now taxed and insured too.... restoration show here i come baby!!!

Done the rear bearings, new disks and pads, cut off the anti roll bar mounts and tidied up a few bits and bobs. Brakes work far better now :-D Getting the disks off the hubs was a bit of a joke but fbh prevailed

Nope, brake pads, window wipers and a hole in the chassis. Thats the offiical fail. Advisories are steering box oil seal leaking. Thats the official stuff. Unofficial stuff.... Alot of welding and tidying to do on the chassis, None of which is either mine or Si's but all the DPO's efforts...

Mot tomorrow. Done carious other niggles over the past couple of weeks. Sorted out all the wiring for lights, horn and dash etc. Put the grill and number plate on. cable tied up all the brake lines and harness etc. Sprayed and cut the load tray etc. Last few pics :)

Nearly a year since I started this gargantuan project and tomorrow I get to see how much more needs to be done. Last few bits of tidying tonight ready for the trip. Restoration show this weekend so hopefully it will be there!!!

Doubt it mate. What wheels have you got on? My mate has 235/85 insa turbos on his and he complains of wandering. Check your tyre pressure?

im not sure mate. You know how you get the main feed, that goes into a mini junction that splices off to the near side? Well certain feeds (tail lights for eg) have no juice at all, but the number plate light does, so theyve spliced the number plate light to feed the tail lights aswell.. Guy...

They have just released a new gun metal grey. Ask for causeway grey. its really nice. Other grey's are Orkney Grey and Indus Silver.

have a look at your front axle. It will be the long bar behind you steering drag link. It Holds your front axle in relation to your chassis. Good way to test, look at the panhard bushes, axle and chassis, and get someone to rock the steering back and forth. If your chassis moves side to side...

Do the nut up till the bush is held tight... For some sort of reference make sure there is equal amount of thread showing out of each nut. Have fun with the a frame ball joint. They're a bitch, also don't forget the panhard rod. That can add a lot of wander

If your previous one lost some fin shrapnel then it's possible that some of it has shredded your intercooler, and or pipes... Really quick and easy test... Spray bottle with water and washing up liquid. Douse your intercooler in it and give it some beans... See a mini bubble factory? Should...

Have a look at your a-frame ball joint and your panhard rod bushes.

Had to do this in an emergency once. It's near as makes no difference the same thickness as a strongbow can :-D
