Now I see what you mean about the starter. Yes, the starter is fine. I'll have a look tomorrow and see if I can turn the engine over by hand.

What I mean is that the starter will spin at normal speed when disconnected from the engine.

Hello everyone... So I turned the key in my 110 200tdi this morning and... nothing. So I tested all the obvious things out (battery, starter&switch, ignition switch, etc) and all work fine. All the lights come on and go off on the dash as they should, the last time it was used was saturday...

A lot of people just by a snorkel made for the intake on the side of the wing, then just cut the hole and fill the existing one. Can't be too hard...

I haven't had any experience with all wheel trim, but I can tell you that all the exmoor stuff I've had has been very good.

Because the optimum temperature for the 15 hair products he uses is 20 degrees. If it's not 20 outside he stays in the car.

Or you could have a tdi/td5 and put some aftermarket exhaust on it and go chavving!

Have you considered the isuzu diesel conversion thingy? Quite a few landies have them, but I'm not sure how many cylinders in one of them.

6k should get you plenty of defender. You can usually find a half decent 200/300tdi 90 hard top on autotrader for 4-5k, which leaves you plenty for spares, repairs etc. My old 90 cost me 3k, only needed a cross member welding (mate did for free) and a couple of small problems with the engine.
