    driving to france..questions..

just a update - LPG cars are now allowed on the chunnel. Mate of mine just came back over and apart from having to let the chunnel people know and they put an additional orange sticker on his windscreen no difference. He tells me that they now also allow caravans - no idea of price tho'

Dom I'm in Auckley & interested. There is also a decent site in Kirton Lindsey, just other side of Gainsborough. Before you all start yes, mine is a P38 but happy to go off road as long as I don't bend it (it's my daily driver)

Thinking of swapping my MG ZTT for a RR 2.5DSE.

According to the computer I get between 18-21 mpg on gas but I don't take a lot of notice of that. I have a 90L tank in the spare wheel well and as it can only be filled to 80% that means it can take 72litres of gas and I get approx 260 miles out of that which equates to approx 17mpg and at...

Thinking of swapping my MG ZTT for a RR 2.5DSE.

just my 2p worth but before I got mine (after 2 years of looking) I looked at many of the P38 diesels because of the engine (BMW). Every one I tried, bearing in mind I came out of a Toyota 4.2 landcruiser, was like driving a boat. Really sluggish and when you gave the engine the beans it...

P38 Delay until ready to drive

sounds like you have a leak somewhere - if she comes up and stays there once you are moving and works as it should with the selector switch then valve block, height sensors etc. are working as they should. When you come to get in the truck first thing has she dropped to bumpstops (that's the...

New key + alarm fob for RRC?

Mike Although I'm nothng like an expert I would asume that if your RR has the BeCM system (RF received, alarm & immobiliser) then it would be a massive & probably quite expensive job to rip it all out. IS a better solution to in some way fool the leccy box that the immobiliser is working...

    Replacing low screenwash sensor

All cheers for the advice, loks like this is a go-er. The prob with the foglight is that 3 of the 4 screws holding it in are rusted solid and because the washer bottle is in I can't get behind them to either cut them off with a dremel or drill them out but I will be replacing these when I get...

    Replacing low screenwash sensor

Afternoon all I know this is really minor but it's the only think on my P38 that isn't working (and therefore bugging me). I've got a replacement sensor and after looking at RAVE and Rangerover.net for instructions on changing I've hit a barrier. I can't get the drivers side front...
