Advice on new blade fuses series 3

I've only...

Yep, that bits fine thankfully, it's where it tightens into the plastic, previous owner's over tightened everything in dash & plastic has cracked everywhere, had to use 2 molegrips to undo most, ( back bit involved a lot swearing, shouting, & bloodied knuckles :p ) £800 :eek::eek::eek:

How to stop diesel without cable

Yep, thanks, the dash where the stop cable fits has been cracked/broken & bodged by previous owners. Good to know there's a few options if it goes, will get replacement in time, but getting it on the road cost more than I'd budgeted. .

How to stop diesel without cable

Hi all, might be a stupid question, but as a newbie to diesel series Landy's, How do you stop the engine if there's a problem with stop cable ( if snapped or come loose ), is it as simple as put something over air intake to starve engine ? Think this will be useful for other newbies. Thanks

series 3 new leaf springs, now sitting at different heights

Forgot to say, when it was all loosened, I stood half in engine bay / bumper & worked the suspension a bit ( 21 stone :vb-weee: ) to see if it settled ( it didn't ), can't drive it at the moment but should be road worthy soon, will try a bumpy road, see if that works. Any other ideas appreciated

Thanks for the suggestions, will undo & retighten U & shackle bolts today & let you know what happens. As a relative newbie to Landy's it's a steep learning curve ( Haynes / workshop manual, YouTube, & advice on here Helps ) Does everyone Torque the U & shackle bolts or just tighten ?
