How long does a MAF sensor normally last? Not sure if mine has ever been replaced i have seen bosch but very expensive then there is pierburg but i think you need synergy box for that one and i have seen some on ebay for £28. Or can i just clean the one thats in now.

Ok thanks. Would you recommend changing the boost pipes to silicone and new vacuum hoses? I noticed you still have EGR i put a bypass on mine but that didnt change anything. What is the black box on back of engine which runs from solenoid could this cause the problem?

Its a 2.0Td4 2003

53 plate 2.0td4. When towing i have no power up hills. Without van it shoots up. I can hear like a vacuum/air sound when revs go above 2000 or as soon as under load. I have tried a different boost solonoid but no change but if i remove pipe 1 the noise stops. Any ideas

Mine has got fuse 3 missing aswell i was wondering the same thing i also have 1 of the little square relays missing. If you have any more info on this let me know

My fuel pump has starting making a strange noise and if you feel the housing it is like a pulsing feeling is this normal

How much is the sensor and where csn i get one? Mine is coming on when outside temp is about 10 degrees but not all the time.

How do they fit in? I can see sensor i was wondering if i could just cut some of the mesh out? All where is cheapest place to buy one? i cant find it on ebay or anywhere. Mine is coming on when outside temp is 10plus and when engine is warm

What about the turbo solenoid how does that work? I changing mine today but not made any difference. When the blue/black vacuum is connected to turbo it sounds like a vacuum cleaner when off nothing

Is there no way to get to it without bumper removal?
