I'd suspect a sticking brake caliper for the rubbing and the clunk could be rear diff mounts

found the leak at last was the bit that connects the top hose to the block the funnny shaped o ring had a split in so at least a cheap fix for once:)

do not go to qwick fit they wanted to charge me 700 for front disks and calipers rip off merchants

thing is i paid 3000 for it and to be fair i expected it to have the odd problem but tis one thing after another and like i said once its fixed itll have to go cos therez no money left to mot it or insure it

i didnt regret it but now after the latest problem its guna have to go had it 9 months and done about 6000 mile wich has cost me ova a grand to keep her goin so far the bank nis empty cant cope with it no more wich is a shame cos i love it to bits but just cant afford to keep fixin it

its a manuel had a fiddle with hoses last week couldnt find anything and had no leak for a week its bin parked up over weekend and now theres a puddle that wernt there yesterday :eek: am having it looked at on wed but talkin to the guy on the phone his exact werds where oh dear thats not good...

its a 2001 td4.guna have a good look n see wot i can see after lunch the top hose dose feel a bit suspect round the end by the block guna have a better look now

bless my hippo shes given me a birthday present and dumped her coolant all over the road :eek:all the hoses seem dry but but the front of the block by the oil cooler is wet :(hope it aint guna be to much to sort out

especilly landrover monthly they seem to be well harsh but lro dont seem to bad read some cool stuff about the freeby in there

i can recomend alltrack 4x4 in malvern replaced my disks pads and calipers yesterday for 340 well pleased very friendly lob done in a hour had been quoted 700 pounds by a differnt garage in hereford so well happy will be useing them again for shure :D
