Agreed that they're lovely cars, but the expense of them is just phenomenal. If I had the choice I'd probably go for a top of the range disco 2, then set about it with the money I'd saved not buying a d3/4. Winch bumpers and winch, galv chassis, under body guards, all the gubbins :)

Tried to fit my spot lights, but as usual, never straight forward. The bolts that came with the spotlights are too big and don't fit through the holes in the roof bar... Just chang the bolt I hear you say! No chance, the bolt is welded to the bracket :mad: nightmare!

it will lock with the key fob, but doesn't unlock so i jumped to the conclusion the whole unit was removed, now you've said that it sounds logical that it's just seized? thanks for the advice! it is appreciated,

Hi chaps, Ongoing issue with my disco 2 is that the door doesn’t unlock, reason being the actuator has actually been fully removed and just not replaced by the previous owner, (found this to my surprise the other day). I’ve seen a few threads that say Maplins and ebay have a door actuator...
