i work for guy salmon landrover if you dont or crnt afford a harness you might get away with just cleaning ecu plug every so often and just have a go at drying ecu out cus there expensive :P

id just replace the injector harness and also clean the ecu plugs that go into the ecu wiht a cloth then just leave ecu indoors by radiatior somewere and see how it goes and do wat ratty said seal the holes in seat box up

galvanised chassis what did you fit ? how logn did it take u ?

how much water in ecu? the oil in the ecu comes along the wires from the injectors you just need to clean ecu plug off and to change injector harness as for the water how much is in there try unplugging it and leaving it in house to dry oout and retry does it start?

i have forklift trucks on hand where is the best place to lift it ? so all ill need to undo is steering linkage clutch lines gear box housing in cab and fuel filler and brake lines to pedal then just the mountaing bolts and that should be it ?

i ahve a 1986 defnder 90 with 3.9 v8 in it i am goign to swap chassis over christmas break waths the easiest way to do this is it easiest to remover wings disconnect steering cluth and brake linkages then undo mounting bolts to chassis and lift whole body off as one ? thanks

you bleed it on the throttle pedal?

mate i work for landorver i got a easier methord ignition 2 then press accelerator down 5 times then the engine marnagement light will flash wen stops flashing start

im thinking of doing this with me v8 90 making it straight through but already got side exit exhust

thats ur timing then or cocked up plugs mate

its normally the split pins iin the lincage that carrode and rust and break just to leave the linkage flapping about in mid air

it will just the the linkage

perhaps a bleed up aswell and see if this helps ?

it has got the right oil in the box hasnt it its not too thick?

ye id agree check for visual fluid leaks

id just get biggest you can you need the power also if you have lots of spots its betetr aswell
