    The devil's in the diesel

Not a reference to that. One with cooler in bottom is for a manual gearbox one without is for an auto box. Baffle is in centre of rad to make it work correctly as both the entry an exit point of th rad are at fhe same level. Otherwise coolant flows In and out without flowing correctly through...

    Aircon fan query

Viscous fan is very easy to spin when its warm . Electric fans are fine, but they are cutting in so she is running very warm. Hence new viscous fan an thermostat going in before driving it again. Should have realised there was a bigger problem when I replaced the split rad last year.

    lower oil cooler pipe

All you need is: 5/8th oil line/ hose (rubber or otherwise) approx 1 m should easily cover it 8x hose clips. If you wish to do the transmission its 1/2 oil line for the diesel auto Cut the original sections out of the old line, clean up and de swarf etc.. flush em to clear the inners and...

    lower oil cooler pipe

It wont matter which you buy although britpart dont have the best name... Chances are the line will be seized in place. Are you replacing because of perished rubbers leaking as it very easy to just replace the rubber hose and a **** load cheaper..

    DSE project information

Running larger bore hoses and much larger intercooler = larger air volume etc.... I was assuming that there would be potential for initial lag due to larger volumes.. Either way. Its not so all good things.

    DSE project information

New intercooler hoses have been fitted and the vacuum hoses have also been replaced car has been driven for the first time. Pulls very cleanly through the rev range with no perceptible lag from the larger intercooler and boost levels are mainly stable at 1bar with a small boost spike to 16psi...
