Hi guy's I was in scrappies yesterday and he has a fuel injection pump on a BMW 325,I know there much the same but what do you need to do for it to work on my p38 diesel.cheers pat.

yeh i know they tell you,you need to calibrate fob,i was told the same but as i said i just renewed batteries then went in and started the car,as for the lock i think you would be able to put a barrel from another car as long as you have the key to open that door when needed,dont see why not but...

hi guy's would the fuel injection pump from bmw325 or any bm fit the p38

what happened to your door lock,if you are just changing your batteries in your fob you dont need to calibrate anything,when i changed mine i didn't calibrate my fob.pat

hi guy's in case i need to go down the road of changing fuel pump how hard is it to do,cheers pat.

also check the plug under the seat,and the plugs behind the inertia switch panel could be corroded there.pat.

hi guy's i have wee problem i seem to have a wee leak coming from the diesel pump is there any way to fix this ie putting sealant on it or something else,anybody got any ideas,cheer's pat

hi guys,hope somebody can help,as soon as the car hits 45-50mph,i get a serious shudder from the left side of car, that gets that bad it comes right through the steering wheel that it shakes like mad,any speed above or below that speed the car is fine.cheers pat.

thanks for the replies,guy's that's good to know stuxj40 that you can take the miles back, because when i go for mot i can get it to the right milage,otherwise iam going to be miles out with my old mot.cheer pat.

hi guy's havent been on for a while,just a wee query recently put in new instrument panel,as my speedo was not working got one from scrappies,but now i have different miles on the car how do i get it back to my original miles, do i need to take it to one of those guys that can take miles off car...
