    LR giving something back....

I just hate the way Apple do business. They are the ONLY company I know of that charge for their Software Development Kits - last time I checked they were over £500. That's just seriously arrogant in my opinion.

    Split tyres - WTF?????

They are definitely out of warranty but it's very worrying - the most precious things in my whole life are in that car. Here's a piccy of it - see toward the right a big crack developing in the tyre, just right for a blow out:

    Split tyres - WTF?????

This is quite shocking  My misses said she could hear hissing near her rear tyre last night when she got home. I said to her - "I'll have a look in the morning" as it was too dark at the time. Anyway, nearside rear was empty - it wasn't flat though as they are run flat tyres - so I...

L322 advice, what to look for?

Hence, why I need to fix mine. It will be at great expense in both time and money - I have absolutely no idea where to start either

    LR giving something back....

Ask them if we can have a iPhone app that we can plug into our cars that allows us to change our cars setting as well as reset and scan errors codes. That would so Soooooooooooooo Cool. Tell them that would be cool - go on tell em. I might even buy a fecking iPhone if you could develop an app...

L322 advice, what to look for?

Hehe - Oh my cossies   Had a silver 4x4 - completely bog standard - had it about 2 years before it got nicked. Then, bought a black one with full leather - Insurance insisted I had this one fitted with a tracker - they nicked it 2 days after track back had been fitted -...

L322 advice, what to look for?

I understand completely. The same Mini I talk about was subject to a car jacking at gun point a few years back. We'd only had it about 4 hours as well. Luckily, they had the sense to park it up and wait in case it had Tracker fitted - it did and police helicopter found it 15 minutes later...

L322 advice, what to look for?

To be honest - It was only a thought for little while - until I came to back to earth and realised that a) my misses would never park it at Tescos and b) it would probably break down a lot. She seems happy driving about in the mini and the kids are only little so I'll leave it be for now...

L322 advice, what to look for?

I saw this on ebay the other day and was tempted to get it for the misses to play about with - she's ferrying our 2 kids about in her Works Cooper-S and she WILL NOT LET GO OF IT 2010 CONVERSION RANGE ROVER HSE DIESEL OVERFINCH L322 on eBay (end time 19-Jan-11 13:45:55 GMT) it's on the old...

L322 advice, what to look for?

My bro in law is an MOT Tester - nudge nudge - wink wink, no what I mean :D so I could always get him to do it. I'd rather fix it though and have the old bags.... er i mean air bags save my families life if ever we need them. A bit of black insulation tape might get it through if desperate...

L322 advice, what to look for?

Well, here's my advice and experiences for what its worth. Obviously, there's no point me mentioning things like - try and get a low miler with full service - cuz that's just common sense but here's what I found when looking. If I remember the models are HSE, Vogue and Autobiography -...

    new to a rangey

mate, dont listen to storm99 - from what i can gather he's just some little prick sitting behind a computer that likes to think he's clever, bitching about every post a newbie makes on here. He, or maybe he's a she (who knows?) really helps makes this forum a pile ****.

    What MPG can i expect from a L322 V8 4.4 ??

Mines showing 19.6mpg at the moment. But I kinda live in the middle of nowhere - not far from an A road that I cruise at 50-60 for most of the time. I used to get around 18-17mpg when I lived in Birmingham though. It REALLY depends on how big and clumpy your right foot is. Have seen it...

    Itssssssssssssssss facelift time!!

Oh hang on - If I remember, I think I had to buy a cross member for the bumper. Anybody know for sure? I'll dig the old invoice out for the conversion I did a few years ago - it's got everything you need on it.

    Itssssssssssssssss facelift time!!

Bumper should fit on same brackets with a little bit of jiggery pokery. Lights and grill have screws in the same place so no problems there. You'll need to buy an induction kit though, cuz the new lights are deeper and the old Air box don't fit no more. Not sure about dezuls tho. Oh, and to...

18 inch or 20 inch snow tyres

Hi There, I'm considering buying some winter tyres for some spare sets of wheels I got. Now, I got a set of 18" wheels and some 20" wheels - which size would be best for the snowy conditions and why? This is for a L322 BTW. Cheers. DISCLAIMER: I'm hoping that this is a serious...

    SRS fault light on permanently

Dealer told me that after 5 cycles with no faults the system will reset itself. I don't believe it for a second though. Apparently, they reset mine and the light came back on straight away. Another waste of £80 :( I love my car though - wouldn't drive anything else :p

    SRS fault light on permanently

I got this problem too. Even Land Rover stealer can't help me - said it was a voltage issue (something about 9.6v somewhere in the system) but that's as far as they could see. Could be either faulty ECU, bad connection or something wrong ith one of the many air bags roaming the cabin. It...
