Hi all Help needed yet again, my alternator has seized on my disco. It's a 300tdi 1996, anyone know where to get one from? I've tried fleabay and paddocks(not heard good reports about paddocks alternators?). Ebays the best so far £89 for a 100amp. Also whats the best amp to get I was...

i was thinking of doing away with original amp too. anyone got any suggestions as to an alternative to the original amp? not got round to doing this job to much other work needed on the disco. back to this job in a couple of weeks!

Fitted new rear drop links Gave her some new oil and filters She's purring!!!

Finished the suspension work. all round bearmach heavy duty springs and terrafirma shocks new terrafirma steeering damper, drag link, track rod and all new track rod ends! 4 new avon ranger tyres and stering alignment. shes like a new motor, wow what a difference!! well pleased!!!

I read about the spacers on here! they sell the spacers in paddocks,ebay,and a few other suppliers so i think its safe to say its quite common. a few posts on here say its normal to sit slightly down on drivers side due to transfer box etc? think im gonna let it settle for a bit?

i fitted heavy duty standard height bearmach springs to front and back, i dont believe they are handed?

ive just put all new springs and shocks on, so no need to replace any parts, when i finished the suspension i noticed that the drivers side is sitting 1/2" lower than the passenger? cheers

hi all need your help once again! i want to fit some spacers under me spring mounts at the rear so as to level the disco up on the drivers side, currently shes sitting about 1/2 inch lower on drivers side? but being a tight arse i dont want to buy them of ebay i want to make them at work...

fitted me new rear suspension. terrafirma shocks and bearmach heavy duty springs. start the front later after work!

update guys still no joy! ive checked continuity between the red/black wire from the tailgate amp to the connector under the headunit all is good, ive also checked that i have power and alls good on that score! but still no joy. a quick reminder if you would, how do i connect up the rca...

hi all i have a 1996 300tdi that never had the rear door speakers fitted im trying to do this from scratch, i found the plug at the rear door but now need to find the wiring at the head unit end. really getting ****ed with this now, ive tried for 2 days now to find the red & black wire...

repaired me boot floor, first welding job ive ever done on my own! looks good. now to put me disco back together!!
