The top part where roof and sides meet its LR dealer part only and is about £25 per side. You can buy double sided foam off ebay by the roll for the bottom. There are a seal for the top of widscreen too and sealant needs to done afterwards.

For the cost of the new section you may as well just replace. Easy to do, as long as the joins are easy to get apart.

How much is the Landy gonna sell for? Why not just keep it for your fun vehicle and commute, drop insurance miles real low and keep both. A landy if for life not just for Winter!!

I de-catted mine and straight through and new boxed rear section. All brand new from Devon 4x4 for about £112. I picked up as I live real close.

I did the conversion a while back and as said its pretty straight forward. You will need to use sealant where the screen meets the roof. You will need a similar year as it'll look pants otherwise.

Because the seller knows that his "discovery" looks more like a defender and if he listed it in the Discovery section people looking for a Defender might not see it when they search!! I am not trying to defend the guy...I think he is a turkey for listing it how he has.....I am merely trying...

But at least you DID travel to view it to find out. you didn't bid or part with any cash. To be fair If someone had to list all "defects" on the average defender it would be a pretty long listing!

I agree....certainly the "defender" bit isn't very true but what he chooses to omit from his advert is up to the buyer to find out through questions or a viewing.

I agree it looks a bit tired but then that might be a better thing than tarted up hiding all sorts of problems!

Get into the dash and check your heater pipes haven't disconnected and dropped off, mine did. Amazing when I sorted it all!
