naa its definatly a 2.5TD

it is on the passenger side on mine, but i've noticed some TDs don't have an air intake on either side. any ideas why?

its strange because some because some TDs have an air intake on the left like the 200tdi, yet some don't. I'm looking at a D reg now which is 2.5TD but has no air intake on the side. wheres the air intake?

i suppose the 110 would struggle with some sharp corners, with it being a bit longer. But i can't see why it wouldn't be as good as a 90

lol i would but i'm only a poor student :( and that 110 only cost me £500

i'm from barnsley/sheffield. i was just thinking overall, wading, deep mud, hill climbing etc. Is their much difference in the departure angles?

Which one in your opinion is the best off road? i think the 110 has an advantage with its longer wheelbase. What do you guys think?

same here, but if there towing them away theres not much you can do perhaps a security light for nights and CCTV?

wouldn't that mean having to fit 2 snorkels? one for the intake on the side and one for the intake on the bonnet?

is it ok to block off then? because i wanted to do some deep wading.

oh and i noticed the usual air intake in the left hand side, but it also looked as though it was taking air from the bonnet on the left hand side too. is it normal for the 2.5TD to use both of those air intakes? and would it be ok to block it if i was doing some deep wading?

yeah its a TD not tdi, i'll let my mechanic friend have a look at it and see if he can sort it out, he reckons it could be the turbo. otherwise i'll get looking for a 200tdi replacement. The engine does start up and works ok, it just pumps out a hell of a lot of smoke so its never gonna pass...
