What mileage is on your Range Rover L322 or RR Sport on?

I think parts are a lot more expensive than the P38 although I imagine they'll start coming down in price as the cars get older.

    Air Con Error

What does the exterior temperature read at when it's not working? My HEVAC unit has a software fault (a certain batch of them all have this) whereby it can 'forget' the external temperature for five minutes or so after the car has been switched off/on. AC will start working as soon as it...

    looking to buy.

I've driven a few P38 diesels and they are slow. But the petrols aren't exactly quick either! This guide is invaluable P38 Guide I very much doubt you'll find one that doesn't have a fault but at least if you know what is easily fixable vs what could cost a small fortune it gives you a head...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Replaced distribution blend motor today. Quite straightforward as access is easy with the instrument binnacle out.

    Upgrading rear lights

Nope, not an underpigeon L322 conversion! but I've got hold of some later spec rear lights. I've been told the outside lights are easy to replace but the inner ones require the tailgate to be stripped down. Does anyone know of a handy DIY guide/instructions for doing this? (can't see anything on...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

It's 'leather interior' or 'leather seats' not 'leathers'

    Removing window tinting adhesive

I had to remove the tints from the front windows of my Range Rover. Homebase sell a product called 'Sticky Stuff Remover'. You still have to scrub a bit but it does a very good job of breaking down the glue and much more preferable to white spirit.

    Pressurising rad hoses

I've had loads of cars over the years and the old 'air con needs a regass' quote in adverts pretty much always means it's knackered in some way.

    Diagnosing Air Con Faults

I need to do my distribution blend motor as it's knackered too. Still, I've done the o rings so I imagine replacing it should be straightforward enough.

    Pressurising rad hoses

If you've fixed the overheating then there isn't really a problem?

    Makes a Nanocom look cheap!

    Britpart/ lynx- diagnostics

How much do the diag units cost for an L322? I thought they were only expensive for the P38 as obd2 wasn't a standard when they were developed, hence the need for bespoke equipment. I'm getting more and more put off the idea of buying an L322!

    Rattling front windows

Cheers, I'll pop the door card off and take a look.

    Britpart/ lynx- diagnostics

As I said, there aren't many of us running these old cars, hence there aren't many on the road. This is why diagnostics are more expensive for a RR.

    P38really so good?

I agree. The furthest I've driven is Norfolk and back (from Hertfordshire) but it is one of those cars that you always have a 'will it make it' thought in the back of your mind. Still, makes the journey more interesting I guess :)

    Rattling front windows

I wouldn't mind seeing this as my driver's window rattles when half open.
