Is there a step-by-step guide for this anywhere?
Mine works most of the time but does seem to know when I've just purchased a christmas tree, bags of logs etc...
It's hard to tell from just the descriptions but is anyone else concerned the TC is going off more often than it should? Mine operates what I think is normally i.e. when it goes off I know why it's looking for traction. I wouldn't expect it to go off just accelerating in a straight line.

Thanks - changing the wiper arm made 'little difference' for Congo and none for you so I don't think I'll go down that route unless I fond something obviously wrong with mine.
I'll have a look at reversing it - I'm pretty handy with cable ties. Maybe even fitting a cheaper blade in the hope...
I have this problem too so will whip the spare wheel off and investigate at the weekend.
I've changed the wiper blade with no improvement so let's see what else I find.
Any other suggestions apart from the above (and someone must have had the same problem in the last eight years) appreciated...
Well, I've got the temperamental tailgate open - It works fine most of the time except when you really need to get in the boot i.e. last weekend with a Xmas tree - and have retrieved the wallet with everything in it.
I could be tempted.

I have P38 Hurricane wheels on mine and they are R18. These are similarish looking but are R17.
That's unusual as Disco2 wheels tend to be R16 or R18 but not R17.
Maybe Freelander? (I know nothing about Freelanders)
I guess the same is true for anyone who uses a larger diameter tyre (depending on whether (and how much) it's currently over) as it will cause it to under-read by ~5%
I'm in a similar position to you but am thinking of putting a slightly bigger tyre on.
I might end up going to 265/60R18 (assuming I keep the wheels), probably a Cooper Discoverer AT3
Lots of useful info on tyre sizes here...
A funny thing happened on the way home form the supermarket yesterday...
I got in the Disco and set off.I flicked the mirror switch and nothing happened. So I went to wind the wondows down to push the mirrors out by hand but the windows didn't move. I also checked the sunroof and that wasn't...
