are you sure the shockers are long enough ,if they are at full stretch/not long enough this would cause the symtoms you describe,as the air spring would be fighting against the topped out shocker i have seen this mistake made :)

i use 15w 40 , standard oil dont forget this engine was developed back in the 60s so the oil dont wana be to thin i pay £35 for 25 ltrs from a local supplier, i put it in all 3 of my v8s and change every 5000 miles but every 3000 on the school run range rover because of short journeys ...

me to dust from pads other than ebc seem to stick to the wheels like ****e to a blanket , but dust from ebc greenstuff suv 6000 series just washes of and seems to grab quicker when you hit the brake pedal:)

i have got the same problem whenever i put the key in the ignition it says key battery low ,tried three sets of new batteries but still got the message no other problems . its been like it for 6 months but cant find the cause:confused:

i agree ,trouble is some of these p38s have been repaired on a shoestring budget and a lack of servicing have led to people thinking they are unreliable, these cars are full of electronics and the new price of them reflect in the price in parts etc. find one that has been well looked after and...

I was told by an LR mech that to work on the engine you have to lift the body shell off the chassis:doh::eek::doh::eek: ive heard that as well sounds horendous !!!

i run the same size on my one p38 but continental tyres drives fine , sometimes a little twitchy ,however my other p38 was running 255/45/19 goodyear f1 tyres what a challenging drive it was awfull constant wandering etc when you see an oncoming vehicle it felt as though the rangie wanted to hit...

normally if all lights flash the lpg ecu has detected a fault if its a 2008 install i would expect it to be a sequential multi point injection?? maybe switching of the ignition and back on may clear the fault :):)

fit konis it will transform the rangie , you will wish you changed them earlier ,£75 a corner not cheap but i think worth every penny if cost comes into it fit oem:)

re fusebox microcat comes up with 3-4 different part numbers for petrol as well as diesels so i think you would have to be carefull if fitting s/h as the amount of different part numbers, if so make sure its not allready melted:)

update further investigation on this p38 has reveald that the fuse box circuit has melted around the one contact on relay no 7 [ this is the yellow one at the front nearest the battery and inner wing after removeing all the relays and fuses and five screws that hold the circuit cover on its...

regarding the konis i cant say i have noticed the ride suffering [ i take it you mean harsh or choppy ride] they are adjustable , i set them about midway and they have been fine , the rangy doesnt lean and wallow half as much into corners just stays nice and taught also if you brake hard doesnt...
