    TD5 fuel filler size.

I'm introducing a small section of metal tube into the fuel filler rubber neck to allow me to connect a fuel feed to my cabin heater, is there an easy way to check what the rubber neck's diameter should be? its a bit out of shape so not easy to measure in-situ. Its a 2004 TD5 110. Cheers for...

    Expedition fridge.

Hope this isn't a stupid question but was wondering about the heat gain from having an onboard fridge. Like the idea of a proper fridge in the camper but its mounting spot is likely to be in the unit behind the front seats. Id like to put a deck on top of this as cockpit for the dog but was...

Flight case components or camper LW ply and trim?

Hertfordshire. Loads online, just seems hard work with poor websites. Best seems to be Adam Hall, but cant buy unless you're a retail stockist, there dealer search is so poor you cant tell which components are stocked/sold by who.

Flight case components or camper LW ply and trim?

Anyone know, apart from a tinternet search, the best place to buy fight case materials, was thinking more of a wholesaler than a retailer. The online stores take the pish price wise.

    Diesel heater install.

Spent the afternoon making a mock up of the mounting box for the heater. First go using Correx sheet. Fits in the space under the seat box/wheel arch, side access point trial to, needs to be slightly bigger to get the unit through for installing, next is working out best route for the air intake...

    Warning M1 & M25 cameras

Traffic density and speed monitoring plus a fat controller looking at a screen somewhere along with integrated weather info must at some point lead to the very slow 70 max being increased, please!

When are smart motorways going to be truly smart and allow high speeds when conditions allow?

    Eberspacher fuel connection.

Anyone fitted one of these Eberspacher TD5 Aux Fuel Stand pipe? Just wondering how easy, any issues to watch for and does anyone do one that isn't 70notes? Cheers.

    Diesel heater install.

Plenty of room above the rear wheel to mount the heater. As said above, what to do if wading and how to keep out the normal day to day rain and muck. It needs to go into its own sealed box, problem here is general access when building the thing. Should the air-in/exhaust out be piped to a higher...

    Roof tents again!

Anyone ever seen a comparison of the different roof tent manufactures, I was thinking a chart on size, weight, easy of putting up, cost, etc etc, Seen several threads, looks like a mine field of info. Perhaps LRO did one but haven't got round to cataloguing the articles yet! Cheers.

    Diesel heater install.

Got an Eberspacher diesel heater. Trying to find a spot to install it where it can be left permanently. Its 110 TD5 2004 so limited space both under the passenger and drivers seat. Without removing my cubby box just wondering if anyone knows how much space there is between the underside of the...

    TD5 Fuel cap

Seen a £6.50 lockable fuel cap, Chinese copy I suspect, it said 300Tdi fuel cap. Just wondering if they are different, the 300tdi and TD5s, surely not? Some scum bag had forced mine open on the 2004 TD5.
