    What motor have you got in it.TD5 it sounds like you have a leak in your oil cooler matrix....they corrode and leak slightly, clogs ur radiator up a bit and leak can get worse and cause big issues.

    DROP ARM BALL JOINT UPPER TRAIL LINK ? check this by sliding underneath your car, back axle, look on top for ball joint, take tyre lever or similar and try to move it up a down by placing one end on diff mount and prise it up a down, should have no movement at all.

    to counter the heat/cooking the back of your leg, we line the underside of the cab with that seflective roof insulation meterial that looks like bubble wrap, silver side down of course. makes the cab nice and quiet as well.

    90% chance that its the oil cooler, its made out of some realy flimsy metal that corodes away with hard water, hence we only use distilled water and a 50/50 mix of good anti freez.
