What motor have you got in it.TD5 it sounds like you have a leak in your oil cooler matrix....they corrode and leak slightly, clogs ur radiator up a bit and leak can get worse and cause big issues.
DROP ARM BALL JOINT UPPER TRAIL LINK ? check this by sliding underneath your car, back axle, look on top for ball joint, take tyre lever or similar and try to move it up a down by placing one end on diff mount and prise it up a down, should have no movement at all.
Hi Jacobus, ek woon in Botswana, we have a whole fleet of TD5s here and the above problem sometimes sticks its ugly head out here aswell, to start check harness at computer box, unplug and if full of oil clean it as good as you can ( i use q20 and spray a lot in the plug and then blow out with...
yes you can fit both batteries in under the seat, you also dont need a upgraded alternator, you do however need to fit a split charging unit, cole hersee makes one
Tight ones are defenatly better than loose ones, Had some on a few vehicles here that lasted very well, but had to take them off due to the directors fear that heavy duty ones wont fail and cause diff issues, i agree to the logic in that. we do drive 85% off road and through the thickest sand...

Original bushes lasts better for us all round except on the stab arm ball joint, thats where we use blue polly bushes.
The polly ones dont have a metal sleave in general and we find that sand gets in between the poly bush and the metal its pressed into and then eats them for breakfast. But...
90% chance that its the oil cooler, its made out of some realy flimsy metal that corodes away with hard water, hence we only use distilled water and a 50/50 mix of good anti freez. Its easy enough to get the cooler replaced, hoses also get damaged if driven like this for any extended period of...
