It is the unit that has two pipes and with pipes removed it has something that resembles a countersink bit inside? I did gently push it with my finger but didn't want to force it as I read somewhere not to as it can knock it out of position, I will give it a go when I get off work tomorrow...

When my Disco is cold she starts ok, runs for 30 seconds then cuts out, it does this a few times then is possible to drive off, almost as if trying to run and old car without choke. Please can anyone help me as she runs sweet as a nut when warmed up

Hi Brian, there appears to be a brown plug coming from the black box under P/S that I am assuming is the amp, not had a right look yet at amp and multi changer, M/C Cassette wont eject so thinking no power going to that either. Thanks for the good luck, think am going to need it :]

Yep it is connected but it looks like the cassette is maybe in the wrong way or I have a fuse blown, power fold mirrors are not working either, I can hear the relay click when the button is pressed but no movement

Thanks for that, I will have a look when it stops raining, my last v8 Disco 2 had Harmon Kardon sounds, I couldn't eject the changer cassette on this one, will it not eject unless it has a standard head unit?

When I bought my Disco 2 it had a Panasonic head unit replacing the land rover one, as I was working on my seat reclining mechanism this morning I discovered there is a six disc changer under my seat, will this head unit run the six disc changer or am I going to have to buy an original head unit

Found the problem, pulled the wheel to see how they come off but never expected it to be so brittle that it fell apart in my hand, have now got a shifter for adjusting seat till I can source a new wheel, thanks again
