Where did you find rear calipers for £45?!

Im not trying to win any races. I only sit at 50 sometimes 60. It just feels like it wants to change up another gear. I dont actually know what box it is. I have a 1999 td5.

Its just sometimes it would be nice for that extra gear. Feels like your revving the tits off it to keep up with traffic on the motorway.

Got the same problem with my rear left. Problem is i dont have £60 on hand for a new caliper. So ill be cleaning it up this weekend...

Have you had many landys before? Diesels tend to lag slightly anyway.

Problem solved! Turns out it was my water pump. The impeller blades were corroded so that there wasn't enough pressure to pump to the heater matrix but enough to pump through the block. Hence why it wasn't over heating! Cheers for the help...

Hi I appear to have sheared the hinge pin on my passenger door. Can you replace the pin alone or do you have to replace the whole hinge? Can't find on google or on here. Cheers Jake

Because they last. You still get alot of series landys around and with the defender being based on them, they are expected to last 50+ years. Doubt you'll ever see a 50 year old disco, (that ain't like triggers brush, 2 new handles and 4 new brushes)

I agree! Id never swap my defender with a disco. Its loud, uncomfortable and slow but i loves it! :D Their not for everyone...

Are you sure? As you a car without an MOT but 'insured' isn't actually insured. As it's not road worthy. However can still drive it to a garage... So there may be a loop hole somewhere.
