Is my defender worth £10K?? No, I doubt it...

Ah yes I had seen that one in the for sale section. Very nice.

Why can't we call them "trucks"?

Origin: Second World War (originally US): from the initials GP, standing for general purpose, influenced by 'Eugene the Jeep', a creature of great resourcefulness and power represented in the Popeye comic strip

    My 90 on ebay

Looks great, all the bits that you say "can include" does that mean they are included or you can include at extra cost? Thought I would have noticed that one kicking about up here.

Is my defender worth £10K?? No, I doubt it...

I read an article recently about how now is the time to buy a TD5 Defender as they are going up in value and the price guide was from 5k-20k+ depending on condition and age. I recently purchased a 110csw and paid over 13k for it but I love it and it is in great condition having been done up by...

Why can't we call them "trucks"?

Funny too, I liked it! To get back on topic, truck is fine in my book. I call my Hilux the truck as it was around first so when I got the LR it became the Defender. Don't see it makes a difference, might have to start calling it the Jeep though!

Why can't we call them "trucks"?

I agree it can be constructive depending on how it is put across, don't think a post would go unanswered though. Normally the post saying to use the search button are followed by answers to the question, but fair post.

Why can't we call them "trucks"?

I love the humour on here, and I love the fact that that's another repost. I think it's hilarious that individuals solution to posts they don't like is to say fu@k off, I'm sticking around if for no other reason than to pi5s you off.

Why can't we call them "trucks"?

You don't need to answer the questions unless you have something constructive or funny to say, why waste your time reposting "use the search button" again and again, it's boring and a waste of your time typing a response. Oh, and I never got off my horse!

Why can't we call them "trucks"?

If I read a question and have an answer I would give it, probably just as quickly as some idiots take to say use the search button.

Why can't we call them "trucks"?

Always makes me laugh when it ****es people off on the forum and you get the "it's not a truck" post almost as pointless as the "use the search button" post. The fact is people don't want to trawl through other threads to find out what opinion was given ages ago about a similar question when...

Making your own Anderson connected jump leads - what amps?

I keep my leads in the car so could connect them inside without getting out, passenger would have to I suppose but they could just jump in the back (110CSW) but I suppose I can see the point in certain circumstances. I would imagine that Anderson connectors would save me less than 30 seconds in...

Making your own Anderson connected jump leads - what amps?

What's the point in Anderson connectors? Just to save lifting the lid? I must be missing something.
