rear window demister

my rear window demister takes forever to clear only one stripe/bar actually clears quickly, they all work is there any thing recommeded for cleaning the element with or have i just got to put up with it

Theres a couple 12v fag lighter demisters you can buy for the front, cables usually long enough to get it to the back too, could screw it in faceing the rear window. Plug in when needed.

What im doing as my heated rear window is ruined.

Mine was the same, just put a new window in as the element was shot and problem sorted!

I done that, except I ran the cables round and connected it to the wiring that was for the rear element (which was completly shot)

just don't get bigger than a 150W, and its fine.
means no cables draped around, and its switched from the original spot.
