Agree with discocool. I looked as this before and decided it was too much work for the gain. Ended up fitting a couple of fog lights to gain more light immediately in front of the Disco.

I'm assuming you have run the engine with the rad/header cap off to ensure there are absolutely no bubbles in the system..no matter how small?

They are all much the same Mike. You are only limited by your budget. However IMHO Get a 40 channel set Get one that will 'scan' frequencies. The antenna and it's set up is more important than the set.

Here's mine... Direct wiring to batt through bulkhead with rubber gromet and silicone. Antenna through rear door along roof lining and down (under pillar) to unit.

If your starter motor was playimg up it could be that this caused the solenoid to fry and causing elictrical problem. I have had that before. 2nd hand starter and all was well.

I've asked the question the other way round on another forum and I'm told yes they will fit. Too bad your not closer I have very good leather interior (electric seats) in my 300tdi but want to replace them with two front seats from a 3 door disco (the fold forward type).

I have a TD in a 110 Hreg (1991) which has me a bit miffed. ...as my lad has a 110 Greg (1990) which has a 200tdi fitted standard:mad: how does that work? It's ok for pottering around though...but yeh, it does leak a tad:D

You will find many places to wild camp in the east. Just keep off the beaten track a bit to discourage visits from kids/traders. There are plenty of places in erg chebbi that will let you camp on their ground for about a fiver and use the facilities to clean up etc. List of Moroccan campsites...
