200 to 300 seats

Just a quick question , i have an early 94' 300tdi with grey leather seats which have promptly collapsed. A friend has some grey leather seats form a late 200tdi with grey leather also, will thses just swap straight over? jsut with the four bolts of is it a bit more complicated and just worth buying a new base?

I've asked the question the other way round on another forum and I'm told yes they will fit.

Too bad your not closer I have very good leather interior (electric seats) in my 300tdi but want to replace them with two front seats from a 3 door disco (the fold forward type).

ah well, mine arent electric anyway being the really early ES model. thanks for the answer though

Just to confirm what MuddyFox said -If both sets of seats DON'T have the seat belt receiver attached they can be interchanged. I've done it in mine.

Be aware the not all the bolts have captive nuts!

i dont have seat belt receivers on my 300tdi seats anyway as its one of the very early 300's
