Hi DC, to the best of my knowledge the classic Range Rover sunroof mechanism would need to be swapped out rather than just the runners as it's a different system altogether. This would involve taking the headlining out then unbolting the sunroof assembly, removing and replacing.

have you removed the two cover plates to see the screws? They are supposed to slide backwards to release but if you tug hard towards you they will come off, you should then see the two screws each side. Have you checked you have power to the motor when you press the switch?
