    If your thnking of lpg buy one already done, it wont make much difference in the purchase price but will save you the £1500ish a conversion will cost, you will never recoup the layout if its only a weekend drive. look for sequential multipoint rather than singlepoint.

    Should I take the plunge??

    When you do take the plunge i would recommend getting a solar trickle charger and leave it on the dash permanently connected. A full battery helps prevent many of the electrical problems that can crop up.
