You hit the nail on the head. LPG gives diesel a much cleaner burn, and its already 30% more efficient than petrol anyway. Also helps to cut down on emmissions. When I traced the vacuum lines I found minute cracks in 3 of the pipes, basically perished rubber. Swift replacement found the problem solved and the cruise con working 100% (so far!!!) reliably. Figured it out by reading back through these posts, so thanks to all who stuck in their two peneth...

I was thinking of getting a tirfor hand winch for light, occassional use when out in my Disco. Does anybody have any experience with these winches? What sort of stowage space do they take up? Any thoughts or info will be appreciated. Chris

I've got the film, went for the mirrored option though. Have to say that I'd go for both if money was no obstacle; the film on it's own still leaves thieves with the thought that it might be possible, window gaurds tell them it's not possible. Just remember though, the determined thief usually...
