Might sound silly on the ticking issue, but check for things stuck round the wheels / pro shafts etc. It's amazing what clings on and whirls round! I had a mud flap caught on top of the rear wheel the other day which was doing my head in! Obviously easy to spot, but from experience it's not...

I think I read in the Haynes book of lies that it should be done every second oil change of something, but the the few quid that they cost and five minutes to change I do mine every time.

Aye, that's the fecker! So what does the oil feed do then, and could the fact I'm out of oil be causing my issues?

I've annotated the picture, but there's a third pipe just out of view to the top left which is almost the same as the one on the right.

Yeah, it's a flying Landy! :D The trailing arm was slightly bent before and it got an advisory on the MOT. Was going to do it soon as well. Oh well, I have now! I had only just polybushed it so all my greased-up bolts came off no problem which was quite fortunate!

Good thinking batman - the wheel was safely out of harm's way and the spare was sat comfortably in the back. Do'h! And here's me trying to swap my face for an axle!

Nooooooo... I had all three wheels chocked, you just can't quite see from the picture... I'm not that daft! :rolleyes: :D I minimised time under it and gave it a bloody good wobble before I went near it!
