Past experience was pretty bad unfortunately. 2001 V6 with low miles. Head gasket failure and gearbox failure. Maybe I was just unlucky! Make sure the car has a thorough going over. Decent service history is a must too. Good luck Ryan

No LPG, it's only a second car so the fuel costs don't bother me. Family have owned plenty of diesels and it's a surreal experience driving one without the diesel sound! Been looking for a while and saw this one... nearly 200 miles from home. Worth the journey though!

Thanks :-) it's in really good condition to be fair, very well looked after and engine is spotless - cleaner than my every day car and that's only 2 years old!! Not sure yet, couple of bits and pieces I want to do to tidy it up.. I'm sure a list will start soon!

So I am now the proud owner of this Discovery 2 V8. Picked it up yesterday and is great! Couple of little things need doing - mainly cosmetic things to bring it up to 100%. I'm so pleased, love the V8 rumble too ;-) Will try and keep this updated with any things I do. Thanks Ryan

Hi everyone Am now a proud owner of a 2002 discovery 2 facelift edition V8. Collected it yesterday and I am so pleased with my purchase. After family owning only diesels over the years, it's refreshing to hear the V8 rumble when pressing the accelerator!

Hi just collected my new disco 2 v8 and drove it back over 150 miles with no issues. Only thing is, when I got it, it was really low on fuel, to the point it felt it nearly cut out when getting into the fuel station. I fuelled it up and drove it back and the engine management light came on...
