    2 inch lift effect on ACE +spacers +shocks/springs +tyres

If I was you I would relocate the compressor to the space at the side of the petrol tank, whichever Side is easiest. Put tank or sill guards on, preferably something full length of the tanks just so they don't get scratched and start to rust or get dented by rocks etc. Can you keep air and...

Who would do such a thing??

I would say its a delivery vehicle something like a flatbed rigid? Do you have companies deliver in the area like that maybe your goods in dept has a record or security has video. I doubt it will be cheap to fix that

How do you stop a runaway diesel with auto box??

You could carry a fire extinguisher it would be useful for any fire of course but how big does it need to be, co2 is recommended, can you get co2 small enough to fit in the car and big enough to stop the car? What is the check for the turbo, when mine went I had no idea about diesel cars, it...

    Automatic V8 Disco not starting

You say it's trying to turn over, you mean it is turning over or is struggling/slow? If it turns over then you need to check for spark and fuel. Take a plug out and ask a friend to crank the engine. If you get a spark then you need to check for fuel. You can see if there is pressure at the fuel...

    Automatic V8 Disco not starting

If the dash lights dim when you turn the key then it's a mechanical/electrical issue as in its drawing power but not turning over. If nothing happens then it is an electrical issue as in immobiliser or not even sending power to the starter. Check for the car being in p or n and wiggle the...

    Help with my Freelander

I would suggest you take the wiper motor off and then scrap the car. The motor is repairable but the gaylander is worthless..........

How do you stop a runaway diesel with auto box??

So the intake is the best bet, would fitting a large valve help, either an electrical one or a manual one. Even if it limited the intake enough to maybe stall it on a manual or block the exhaust also? Maybe also fitting a t piece and a fire extinguisher at the t piece could also be a worthwhile...

    discovery 2 imobilizer

It's easy with hawkeye I think you can turn it off, but it needs to be "mobilised". Don't quote me on this tho cos I may have dreamed it!

How do you stop a runaway diesel with auto box??

Cut, rip or otherwise detach the turbo pipe. I think that this is usually why the diesels run on in the first place? Surely if you take the pipe off the turbo or the pipe off the intercooler it will cut the sequence? It would be good to invent some sort od slam shut device for this purpose...

Did I do the right thing?

That's rule 16b Rule 16b When confronted with a gaylander or its occupant and you have no where else to go such as a narrow road or pavement, you may run over the fecking thing. If you do have somewhere to go it is at the operators discretion but it is recommended that you run over the...

"Landrover rules and regulations, section 16a It is the law that when passing, following, seeing from a distance or otherwise in the same vicinity a gaylander you must: 1, hurl abuse 2, laugh uncontrollably 3, shake your head or fist. 4, look in the opposite direction. You may combine all or...
