Hey, I've ordered a new pipe adaptor for the to of my 300tdi cylinder head. Part number 624091 The heater hose connects to it. I just wondered what you lovely people would put on the thread to fit it. Blue hylomar? Rtv? PTFE tape? Thread compound? Cheers

Mine is the other way around. The grommet is too small to fit on the bracket and when fitted to the prop it is still too small to fit in the hole on the bracket....

Maybe mine has had a different bracket fitted? Ok have a look tomorrow....

It said it was OEM, The seller has checked my chassis and reckons the prop bracket that fixes to bonnet is now not available. Said there was no alternative and to post back for a refund. And maybe Google could help solve the problem. I've googled and found 369746 It looks we exactly the same as...

Hi, just bought a bonnet prop grommet off eBay but it doesn't fit. It fits the prop okay but it's too small for the hole on the bonnet. The seller says it's the right one for my chassis number and there are no alternatives. Am I missing something. 1995 300tdi N reg. Item number for the grommet...

Thanks, that could prove to be VERY useful. They state that the 8.5mm² cable which is 63amp is 5.5mm across. I'm guessing that's very similar to the original. Working right now but I will measure tonight when I get home. Be interesting to know what the insulation thickness is. I did look but...

I bought some Crimp battery tags for 6mm² wire because I thought that was what I needed to fit(ordered before the discussions on here...lol). They turned up yesterday and the original land rover wire fits it. I'm so confused. 6mm² isn't 60amp. (Only 47amp(thanks discool)) Yet the fuse is 60amp...
