oo come to think of it, my needle nose plyers went missing on the chassis swap, black grips. Only cheap so not too worried but wouldn't mind them back!! All paid up for wales now :)

can anyone give me some advice on CB setup as i am fast running out of patience with it..... i had my cb set up with a large whip aerial, cb mounted to roof spar, and 10m of cable in between could not get the SWF below 2 for channels 1 or 40. It was telling me that channel 1 was higher...

Yes i did, worked a charm, will get some pics up for you. was thinking, if the support rib is internal (you should be able to tell if you can see the weld spots on the roof) then surely you could just use the same as i did, but rather than rivet/rivnut, have the downwards facing bolt attached...

Quick question, does cable length affect CB set up? i currently have a 10 m cable bunched up underneath the headlining, will this affect the actual function of the CB?

yes that is my design, although i am thinking riv-nuts might be a more secure solution that pop rivets...

I am wondering if one of those long sprung loaded masonry bolts into the underside of the roof ribbing might work.... edit: wont work, cavity isnt deep enough to get the spring in...

Guys, i know theres some threads on this already and Ive had a read through, I want to mount my CB (the actual radio, not the Aerial) on the inside of the Roof in the cab. Whats the best way to achieve this on a 90 (with headlining)? Cheers

Well aware of that! Landy Air Con.... but yeah, have made sure I dont have anything electircal in the foot well. On the subject of CBs, do you know anywhere in essex that i can get my hands on the cabling for the CB? I have a CB and mic in the garage, but no power/aerial cables...

Got me thinking about wading prep for wales, So far i have: Front and Rear Axel extended breathers (to be fitted) Gearbox and transfer box breathers (to be fitted) Safari snorkell (fitted to donaldson airfilter) Exmoor trim Land rover Wolf Rad Muff (too be fitted) Bell Housing and timing case...

also to clarify, would i need four breathers: Front Axle Rear Axle Gearbox Transfer Box correct/too many/missing something??
