Ok have you fitted the lift pump pumping bar above the cam not under it? As you inserted it to bolt it down did the top end stick out or did the bottom end push out? Withdraw it and check the arm for defect and if in sure take a pic and post it on here. If its damaged in any way don't use it...

So are you saying you have fitted one and it dose it? Or are you saying it was doing it before?? Also check sediment trap and change fuel filter are other prime points to look at

Depends on how much gasket is on there, get a gasket scraper its only a few quid for one then it won't leak oil from there

What car and age is it? Ok need a pic of part to be sure as well.

The swage joints fail its a common fault in the hydraulic world, as the rubber gets old it gives up and pops out under pressure, 9 times out of 10 you see it's wet around it before it gets close to failing

Don't need them but if you off road you will smash the chassis

Is it an auto? Automatic cars need brakes to slow them down and they eat them nature of the beast I'm afraid As for a manual I don't know as you can use the gears to slow you down

I was thinking the same just drop the shock turrets or when you can afford get 2" lift shocks Standard is Cheeper when it brakes ;-)

There is some bad news chaps that car is now full of toxic fumes and small toxic particles all over the place in there. I recommend thick rubber gloves, goggles and face mask for a start if your going to pull bits out, be warned its not healthy stuff

I would check half shafts, diff's, prop shafts and cv joints for play 1st. mine dose the same, it seems to be the rear diff area I think mine is the diff slowly dieing

Had a flat battery on my disco from not being run for over 3 months all locks and lights worked fine just not enough amps to turn the engine over

Remedy 1x set of jump leads and another vehicle to jump it from. Then you need to see if the battery is holding charge or the alternator is failing. Common fault is battery for this time of year

Gearbox done now found rear calipers seized up and need repairing :-( Mind you I haven't used her for about 3 months as I use the works van a lot
