Will do. Am I correct in assuming the ignitor fires the lamp and the ballast regulates the voltage once running? My conclusion would be either dodgy connection or the ignitor isn't reaching a high enough voltage to fire it (sometimes)? Or the light does flicker on but the ballast is knackered...

Any idea where/if you can by these? I'm thinking controller more than ignitor given it sometimes works sometimes not.

still busy snagging few issues with wifes "new" L322. Noticed both front belts not retracting very well - any ideas on a fix? my soon to be 100k freelander retracts perfect :)

2003 L322. Was dripping in somewhere above drives seat. Spotted seal on drivers side seems to have gap, wheres overlaps on otherside. Could this be the source?

TD4 auto 98k - just recorded worse i'e ever had out of it 24mpg local only just over 300 to a tank. Best I get is 34 on a long run. ERG disconnected last year but first winter without it - wonder if it impacting. Runs really well so not sure if there is a prob.
