Got a badly warn rear on range, but rest ok. I know on the freelander we always put news on rear and move warn tyres forwards and so far has protected the vcu. I know the range is a diff system, would it be ok to replace the two rears and leave the fronts. Seems a shame to replace all four...

Having issue with with wife's l322. Seem when starting off cold car is reluctant to change up stuck 30 mph. Seems ok when warm. Took out last night for half hour after been stood for 3hr and no issue at all. Says it judders when doing it. Was thinking gearbox. Any ideas?

Tailgate on the freelander 1 keep opening. Can here it locking unlocking at time. I've taken fuse out as it opened on a hill in traffic! Is this the whole rear door handle unit that wants replacing?

Rear passenger window cable snapped so just bought a new one from LR. Basically no power getting to the connector and i've checked fuse and swapped switches round. All other windows ok. Any ideas of anything else can check before calling in the auto electrician?

sticking solinoid. I replaced my starter 5 years ago - £130 DIY, not worth messing with parts by time you got it on and off (esp on an auto cos its a pain to get bolts). still perfect today.

Rangie has little phone button on steering wheel and sat nav. Is there a kit available to add phone integration or would a simple blue tooth be cheaper/easier?

Update. Can get the HID to light but first need to turn to side lights for a second, then onto dip and it works every time. More likely starter?
