Ok I have removed the gauges on my dash to take out the green filters. Have wired them back up, and now my fuel gauge and temp gauge are now reading off the chart. stupidly didn't mark up what was earthed to where. so was wondering whether anyone can help me with what part of their dash is...

erm wasn't the easiest thing to do - had to take green filter out completely so they had to be broke into small pieces superglue is also handy as the green filters hold in the bulb holder, so these had to be fitted back on

well this is what I did yesterday - took out the green filters and replaced with blue LEDs

well fingers crossed they have used the simple ones and can swap then easily. will find out tonight when I have a proper look. they don't look so bad on the black surround, like on yours. I don't know if its just the chequer plate that makes it look too big

yeah there is a lot of chequer. some there for a reason lol. but the ones around the lights will be coming off, as I think it looks a bit crap. then hopefully spray the original light surrounds black for the minute

yeah that's what I thought they were, not to keen on them. smaller ones definitely look better. seen them on fleebay but a lot of them seem to be LED ones

Hi guys, Looking at a defender 110, all seems in good nick. only issue is that the turbo dies. in all honesty would this be a complete no-no and steer well clear, or are they not that bad of an issue. what would approx. costs for the repair be to this. Thanks in advance

so there are no major issues with the automatic, with regards the fuel, is gonna be better than the Focus St i currently have, doing about 18mpg, which is useless in the snow, if it gets a sniff of a hill in the white stuff it just wants to go backwards, and have to say not the most practical...

Well the info so far is that it is gonna be expensive to run and look after, but cant be any worse than the car i already have, which is currently doing 18mpg. so anything better than that is a plus lol. living on a farm, getting the hands dirty and knowing way around engine s kind of a must...
