    MoT tester will have a toffee hammer. You say it is looked at regularly? Surely they wouldn't have undersealed a rotten chassis leg though? Rot doesn't happen overnight to the point that you can put a hammer through it :D Yes I do welding. Maybe PM me if you like. i have always have a look for you.

    Not for recovery if you're off road. It'll peel it right off the chassis. Get some jate rings for front and rear.

    Had some time to myself today so serviced the TD5. Nice and easy to do. Also was nice to be able to work on a Land Rover and not get covered in sand and dirt :D In other news: Still looking for the "right" TD5 defender but am struggling :(

    I'm in the process of collecting all the bits to do mine. A facelift that is :D I am going to get a set of the genuine light guards and then riv nut and security screw them to the body.

    Heater plugs as in glow plugs. The black relay controls the timing e.g. x amount of seconds. Nothing to do with the heating heaters.
