    2003 Range Rover Vogue overheating

The early V8 BMW engines are 4.4. The later Jag engines are 4.2. No idea about the problem however.

    p38 4.0 lpg or 2.5 diesel?

I've owned a P38 2.5TD and now have a L322 4.4 V8 with no LPG. P38 was 28mpg and a good all round car. L322 Vogue with petrol is 18mpg, but absolute luxury with bags of power, just as a RR should be. :) TDV8 is the best option, but too much for me!

    V8 petrol oil

I was going to buy the Comma 5w40 £29.99 (Same as Halfords 5w40 £36.99). Comma recommend the 5w30 too. But the GM is just too good value.

    V8 petrol oil

I've been chewing over what oil to buy for a few days now for my 51k mile 4.4 V8 petrol. I used Vauxhall's 10w40 semi for my 2.5TD P38 changed every 6k. 10 litres and a filter (Omega used the same BMW engine) for £28 on trade club prices and it was fine. So after checking all the spec...

    L322 Alloy wheel Issue (Overfinch)

A decent paint shop/repairer will not have this problem. Don't just think alloy wheel repair.

    EAS- problems

WOW it's almost been a few years since I saw that. Nice pic WAMMERS. Poor quality battery can be 1 of many reasons why the P38 will 'dance'. Driver pack can be an issue.

Yes good point from Data, there is a/some relays that can cause big problems if not working correctly.

    starting problem

Before you go buying a hot start bodge, check the diesel leak off pipes. They deteriorate over time and can cause starting problems. You can replace the pipes for under a tenner.

    L322 Alloy wheel Issue (Overfinch)

Range rover 2003 front and rear brake discs

I almost bought a front set of brand new supercharger Brembo callipers to upgrade mine. Do I need them, no, do they look good, most definitely yes. Had i bid (finished at £275) would I have got drilled and grooved disc a for them? Dam right I would. But I decided the money would be spent...

Range rover 2003 front and rear brake discs

lol As I remember it, they are not in any way costly and also in no way are they intended to be flash. After all they're on a P38. But they do look better than solid discs, what the hell is wrong with wanting them to look better? Just because you would not spend your money on them...

Range rover 2003 front and rear brake discs

LOL I see someone else getting a taste of some 'regular' members 'humor'! I put the Britpart drilled/grooved discs on my old P38 and they had covered 20k miles when I sold it. I used EBC pads too, cheapest I think. They barely had a lip on them! Surprisingly good in fact. I was chewing over...

    2005 L322 4.4 V8 gearbox oil change

OK just got new car and it feels really good and I'd like it to stay that way. 2005 (54) Vogue 51k miles full dealer history - 3 services completed. I'm looking at changing the transmission oil with type LT 71141. I can get 12l or 20l - I understand you need to do a few changes to get as...
