Why not but one for £1500 and spend the rest making it reliable then you know where you stand and would have a pretty tidy motor to show for your money

Have a look at the seats in a 1996 nissan micra you will have to cut some bits off and weld some tabs on they are a good fit. Also the bases come off just like landy ones

When you do go to look at one GT take someone with you thats got some knowledge, or find an idependent specialist that will stick it on their ramp for a good look see. If the vendor is not happy about it walk away

We just had a reasonable quote from sureterm they are in the landy mags. If it's not too far for you to travel to there is a 4x4 auction in leominster called Brightwells you can view the stock online and they usually have a lot of landy's going through there. you'll get more for your money
