Hi. Currently have a 2012 SD4 which is missing its sump guard. Being a bit OCD I am trying to source one for it. I have seem some adverts which would suggest the the 2006-2011 have a different sump guard to mine. Any of you knowledgeable folks confirm this. Hate to have to return one due to is size

Looks like fabricating a new bit might be easier than removing the cradle. Pit would be handy for this job

Hi all. Been a while since I posted which is a good sign lol. Anyways, her indoors Freelander need a new fuel tank cradle. I have picked up a good secondhand cradle but having examined the offending part it looks a bit of an operation. Anyone done one of these and is it as bad as it looks? Thanks

Stripped half of the engine down to remove what I hope to be a leaking high pressure fuel pump:eek: Hopefully new one will sort diesel in oil problem.:(

Chaps. Hope someone can assist with a problem I am having with swmbo TD4 Freelander 2002. Changed the oil recently as I suspected that the level was increasing. True enough after a couple of hundred miles the level is creeping up on the dipstick. So where do I start to eliminate possible...
