    Remapping for TD5's

i tried to get a EGR kit from them, tried ringing, various emails and nothing. In the end i got it from TD5 Alive. They do have good reviews though from other forums. Think the guy is on another forum, Porny or Porky or something is the guy who owns it i think.

Help with a Judder Diagnosis Please

yep, that does make sense. It does seem better when i pull a double axel trailer (1.3 ton empty) straight from cold, so this would make sense as they would warm up faster. It takes me 20 mins i guess, as i practically go straight onto a dual carriage way and the clutch doesnt really get much...

Help with a Judder Diagnosis Please

Ok, will have a look at that. Think its all dry though. As i said, its no different if its been sitting for 2 weeks or over night. It still judders the same, and takes the same amount of time to sort itself out. If it was an oil leak, surely it would be worse the longer its been sitting?

    N REG (1996) Defender 90 300tdi DASH UPGRADE HELP

i like the inside of the TD5s. Get some pics up of your truck. It must have some sort of dash in at the moment. They dont come with much in, the Puma Defenders Dash's are alot more modern than the previous ones though. I like the simple look design of the later TD5s

Help with a Judder Diagnosis Please

Got a bit of a starnge one here. Everytime i get in the car in the morning (or anytime its been standing for a while), the clutch for the first 10-15mins is really juddery. After this time is goes back to being perfect. I asked my mechanic when it was last in to have a look, but nothing came to...

    Auto or manual

personally i would stick with a manual. I had a TD5 auto disco before my TD5 defender and wouldnt change it back. I just prefer a defender with a manual box.

    What can I tow?

Your weight budget is 3500kg, say your landy is 2000kg, you will have 1500kg left for trailer (including what's in it) this rule is fine for a landy, it gets more complex with a lighter vehicle as the trailer can't exceed the towing vehicles weight, but with a landy you shouldn't tow anymore...

    Latest version of the Defender

I have heard that they have probs with the clutch as it's a ford design thing. Common with all vans, cars etc, but don't know anyone who has had one go so could be one of those miths! That Mpg sounds aweful, I get 34mpg average (90 TD5) some of which is towing a 1.5tonne (empty) trailer and...

    Daily commute
