    would i get shafted if?

It doesn't help when every poor bastard is encouraged to make a personal injury claim after the slightest prang. I know a guy that was actively persued by a "no win, no fee" style company. After the 3rd or 4th call he got ****ed off and demanded an explanation as to why they were persueing him...

    would i get shafted if?

There's a fair bit of emotion around this topic, as this kind of "sideways" thinking about insurance only leads to disappointment if you ever have to claim, and higher premiums for the rest of us poor buggers if someone has to claim against you. It's not worth the risk of either getting caught...

    Brake Caliper nuts

Thanks for your help guys. I'm going to try walloping a socket on first. If that doesn't work it'll have to wait until I get the welder for the other bits to be ready. Got to love Land Rovers. I was talking to a mate up in Buxton today. He restored his series 2 when he was just 16, and still...

I'm a bit worried about heating the caliper, isn't brake fluid flammable?

    Brake Caliper nuts

Hi all, looking for some advice. I'm trying to replace my front discs and pads as the old ones are down to the steel. I've been trying to remove the caliper for about an hour, and have just stripped the top caliper retaining bolt. I've managed to remove the brake line to get a clear shot at it...

    Rare as rocking horse poo.

There seems to be loads of van backs at the moment. But no CSW ones. I guess that's what I'd really like.

    Rare as rocking horse poo.

Hi guys, as suggested in the title, I'm having some trouble in sourcing a second hand roof. I've got a van back, but like the look of smooth ones with sunroof and alpines in. Every now and then they come up on fleabay, but they're stupid money. Anyhow, the question is, has anyone ever cut these...

Right, so that'll be the weekends activities then. I'm putting off some welding work, so that'll do nicely!! I'll post the pics and give write up when I'm done.

Probably cant hurt to put new fluids in. My neighbours call it the chuckle wagon, because it sounds like a pack of hyenas when I turn. They are **** takers though.

power steering sounds like a pig..

I've got the same issue, I haven't got round to sorting it yet though. My fluid is all ok, so I'm looking at belts. Before I go scratching around for my workshop manual, where is it? And any ideas how tight it should be??

LR 90 200 TDi Starter Troubles

It might be a long shot, but check your earthing. I had a peculiar issue with lighting, where I was getting power when I had my meter on it, but nothing when I put the fitting on. Came down to a poor earth connection. Worth a look?
