I'm looking at getting my LT77 gearbox rebuilt in the spring, how much will it cost (ball park)? I want to replace the axles aswell whilst doing the gearbox, so I need to get an idea of costs.

I had this problem a couple of months ago, the steel fluid pipe going into the slave cylinder was perrished, causing loss of fluid and after a few miles no clutch! you need to get underneath it and have a look, the slave cylinder is mounted on the gearbox on the nearside, theres not much room...

You want a sender unit for a Defender 300tdi, should be less than £10. Try Steve Parker's, I know he sells them 'cos I need one for my 200tdi! Good luck with it mate, and congratulations on your new arrival!

yep, good snorkel thats properly sealed and you'll have no probs, provided the water don't go over the snorkel :D

I'm betting it's your MAF (Mass Airflow Meter), if you unplug it and it makes no difference to the running of the car then it's very likley to be shot. Do a quick search on google TD5 MAF ;)
