L322 L322 Curious Air Suspension Fault

CL is Cross Link Valve I think - the pre 2004(ish) models has a crosslink valve behind the wheel arch liner (can't remember if it was pax or drivers to be honest). This device was used to a) equalise pressures across the axle set and b) open in extreme offroading to make the independant...

L322 L322 Curious Air Suspension Fault

Not sure I did a How To on this Goldie....but in anycase - slow lowering can be caused by a blocked exhaust 'silencer' should be under the cover near the compressor in the boot. These have been known to cause slow lowering. Generally when the error 'too much energy...' etc comes up, this...

Unknown electric fault after battery change

What is the fuel rail pressure and supply pump pressure? I ask as I am sure that the immobiliser code *may* be an anomaly as I am sure I used to always have this code on my L322's (albeit written slightly differently due to a different diagnostic device - might have to see if I have screen shot...

L322 ABS, HDC, Suspension, Gone ! FIXED

The ABS sensor connection is in a small box mounted on the wheel arch liner....if you jetwashed the wheel arch liner you may have got the connector wet....it is the blue one! When the ABS system detects a fault it will put a message out on the CAN and the EAS will go out in sympathy, along with...

    L322 Zf6hp who to rebuilt?

Gearbox can be done with the right tools to compress the clutch packs correctly, patience and a decent vernier etc etc... Torque Converter is a specialist item, they need to be cut open, rebuilt then welded back together.

Am I ever not going to be reminded of this dark moment??? ;) Yes, the oil pressure problem was solved by using the correct O Ring on the pick up pipe....and it wsa one thing I replaced (but not with an OEM O Ring) so considered that not to be the issue.....low and behold @Grrrrrr and his...

    Freelander 2 (LR2) 2007 Rear Diff Issue...Nasty

Well, the wife had an interesting time in my FL2 the other day.... Driving to her parents with the kids (100 miles - 98% of it on the motorway/fast A roads) and she reports there was a violent jolt - like someone had momentarily jammed the brakes on and then a release followed by grinding and a...

Freelander 2 (LR2) Service and rear wiper motor

I replaced my rear wiper motor for a pattern part - £37, it is a single nut on the wiper arm, undo the two torx screw hidden in the little 'handles' on the inside of the boot door cover, pop it off the clips, release the wiring connector to the motor, 3 bolts hold the motor in place, pop it out...

    P38A P38 V8 front cover oil leak

Dats my pic too....hee hee... There is an O Ring on the cap held in by the circlip - O Ring size unknown, sorry...but they go brittle and/or flatten out causing a leak. And before you ask, this was not the O ring that caused my curios lack of oil pressure - that was on the oil pick up tube...
