I dunno if its different set up now but my 2001 TD5 you have to press the button once for the front drivers door, again for the rear door and passenger door and again for the boot. May be different now tho not sure

Sun roof, I have the same problem but only when parked on a curb two on two off and only after loads of rain. Wheel arches i used a tyre shine gel, not only look great but water runs straight off it

talking of the `sport` mode button, I have Td5 2001 plate and see no difference in performance at all with this on. As far as economy I normally get 380-400 out of a tank, normally on hols towing, long run auto cruise on never above 60 etc

I agree, great car seven seats, all the bits and get you anywhere whatever the wheather. If you want an independant view of all your choices check out honestjohn.com, but I warn you there are more bad points than good for the TD5, it also shows all recalls etc. Didn`t stop me though, I love it...

happens to mine, have two sunroofs. not sure how to cure could be sunroof drain gulley pipes blocked seen it on here somewhere.may do something about it if it gets worse.only happens in big rain fall and if car left half on and half off curb, as you say falling to lowest point.

Thanks, now have it or ramps. the water is coming from both sides of the gearbox from the drivers side i cant see where from but the passenger side just above the gear box on the bulkhead is a little pipe/tap/overlow? it is dripping from there. But more worrying is whilst underneath i noticed...

Ok guy`s and gall`s, Its a hot day and I have been running the air con and it works fine.BUT i now have water leaking out underneath the gearbox area on my Disco TD5, dripping fairly fast. The temp gauge is on the norm and coz the engine is hot I havn`t as yet checked water level in expansion...

really simple job, i took longer getting wheels off than actually changing discs and pads, i used a screwdriver carefully pushing the piston back.

Mine too, daft noise for an important test for a fairly complex car, but wouldn`t want it any other way.

Hi, not got masses of experience but my td5 es auto with air suspension does the same hiss everynow and then, I take it as normal. It also does it when you park up occasionally and walk away.

I have a Td5 2001 Disco, how the hell do you check the auto box oil? Is it easy for a novice to do? any one got pics of top up area, coz its hard to discribe I would imagine of how to do it. Its not such a simple dip stick I know. Was underneath it with a neighbour who knows his way around...
