Decided to do rear wheel bearings. Whilst stripping noticed pads were fubared and one of the wheel nuts was rounded (muppet at tyre place I reckon) So nipped over to Craddocks for some pads and a few spare wheel nuts before carrying on. Remembered to jet wash it first this time, much easier ;)

Yeah and the bolt heads lol. Lesson learnt.

Had my first go at doing the wheel bearings:) Managed to get the front ones done, have to leave the rears for next weekend. Not too bad of a job once I managed to figure out how to get the calipers off along with the brake pipe bracket. Everything was hidden under 2 inches of mud.

Just fitted them. 501 1 SMD LED WHITE SIDELIGHT BULBS DEFENDER | eBay Doddle of a job, 6 screws to undo the binnacle then unplug the speedo cable to give you some extra room. The LEDs have polarity so as you swap each one flick your lights on to check it is fitted the right way round...

I have one and it's great :D Although expensive. Not long after I bought mine I found a guy that does them at the Peterborough show for a lot less. I forget his name but someone might be along in a bit that can enlighten us.

Nice that it shows the RRP at the bottom so you can see what a bargain your getting. :lol:

265/75/16 are more than 3 1/2 inches larger diameter, and also a standard fit on fenders.

Managed to speak to Steve today (thanks John) Unfortunately he has closed up for a while to take a well deserved break. Even so he still spent the time to have a chat and give me some advise. Very nice guy and extremely helpful. :D

There used to be The Desert at Mansfield but it has closed. I do believe they are trying to acquire a new plot but don't imagine it will be for a while.
