Haha! Good philosophy… I ordered a 8mm Barb which arrived today (judged on the size of the fuel line), but what I didn’t account for was that there is an inner 6mm plastic line on the inside of the rubber one… annoying! But fairly certain if I use a bit of heat to insert a 6mm it will do the job!

Hi, sorry for some reason I didn’t see the reply until after I posted. It’s just curious that it happened on both sides. I replaced the sensors just over a year ago, so assumed they are ok. Saying that they aren’t originals so who knows. Nanocom says to wait 60 seconds after ignition off to save...

Yeah I had a read through. Big fan of his work! I took the damper off, which seems to be in good nick. The problem is this: So a new pulley… yay!

Hi all, just fixed the SLS and now a new problem… never gets old. Rattling from front of engine. Took the fan off and ran without belt and noise seemed to disappear. Checked all the pulleys and they seemed fine. Ran engine with belt and slacked off slowly, noise quietened considerably but...

Fuse ok. So MAF on euro2 makes no difference? Mine is a 10p from 1999/2000 so assuming that’s euro2, and have bypassed the EGR.

All sorted. On closer inspection realised the plug for outlet valve was loose, so that was an easy fix. Spliced on the new plugs for the sensors and everything now seems fine. In other nanocom news I am getting a 0 for airflow g/hr, which I’m supposing indicates a dead MAF…
