About to take the P38 plunge

Thanks Tcubed.. I did fancy the diesel to start with.. but was told coupled with the auto box to only expect 24-26 to mpg and that it was sluggish as hell? My line of thinking was if i had a 4.0 V8 with LPG, id be expecting about 18mpg.. as LPG is half the cost of petrol, pound for pound id...

About to take the P38 plunge

Hi guys, After having my freelander for 2 years now, I’ve chosen to upgrade to a P38 rangie.. Ive always wanted one, and im sick of either running out of space in the freelander, or running out of puff when towing. Ive been keeping my eye out for a 4.0 V8 to either convert to LPG myself, or if...

    4 wheel laser allignment

Hi guys, Any of you had the above done lately?? Just wondering how much it costs roughly.. Had my hippo for about 15 months now, so never had the 4 wheel tracking done before.. Every car i had before was 2 wheel drive and cost me a tenner to do, so was just wonderin what the hippo will cost...

Wulf, Good luck mate - let us know how you get on.. Ever since i changed the coolant temp sensor, the MIL light has stayed off. Just to let you know, the temperature guage on the dashboard of an L series is off another sensor.. So if your coolant sensor is screwed (like mine was!) your dash...

Droning noise! (and voices in my head!)

Just thought id ask, but do any of you guys think the wheel wobble through the steering wheel is connected to this droning noise, or is it just coincedence? Ill go to a garage Tuesday and ask them to balance all my wheels just for the hell of it, then we'll see if the wheel wobble goes... I...
